Job Role: CNC Grinder Location: Leicester, LE18Type: Full-time, PermanentShift: 37-hour contract - 3 shift pattern (morning, afternoon and night rotation)*Pay Rate: £15.50 - £17.00 per hour (on completion of training)

Job Role:

To operate CNC Machines (Grinding) in line with workload requirements, ensuring that all parts are machined to meet customer requirements and strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC Grinding Machines, ensuring that parts are machined in accordance with the agreed method specification
• Attain machine setting skills to enable machine set ups
• Understanding of engineering drawings
• Inspecting parts in line with quality procedures and taking any necessary, approved, action to resolve quality issues
• Operating CMM machines to support inspection requirement

The candidate:

• Previous experience in CNC Grinding is advantageous but not essential
• Previous experience in CNC machining is advantageous
• Experience within an Aerospace sector is advantageous
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Able to self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment
