CNC Machinist - Proactive Personnel Ltd : Job Details

Proactive Personnel are thrilled to be working with a well-known, thriving aerospace component manufacturer in Wrexham to recruit for a CNC Machinist to join their well-established team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a experienced CNC Machinist to join a forward-thinking company who offers stability and career progression.

Job Details -

• 24/7 shift pattern working 12 hour shifts across both days and nights (7-7)
• £17.38ph basic rate, plus 18% shift allowance based on 37 hours + 5 hours overtime paid at time and a half. Totalling to roughly £46k per annum.

CNC Machinist Duties -

• Setting and operating machines working with aluminium and alli-lith materials to match customer specification creating aerospace components.
• Working to detailed drawings and layouts.
• Reporting all component and machine non-conformances.
• Calibrating measuring equipment.
• Complying with relevant HSE legislation and company policies.

CNC Machinist Requirements -

• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering - CNC Machining or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 years experience working on 3 and 5 axis machines.
• The ability to identify components and select the correct tooling/jigging process.
• Experience working to detailed drawings.
• SAP/MRP experience would be beneficial but not essential.
• Crane/FLT licences would be advantageous.
