Elevation Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a Sheffield-based aerospace company seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their team.Location: SheffieldShift: Mornings, Afternoons & NightsSalary: Up to £40k

• Set and operate multiple multi-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture aerospace components.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Use a variety of measuring equipment to ensure product conformity.
• Work with a range of materials, ensuring fine tolerances are met.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and clean working environment.
• Inspect completed parts using manual gauges and other inspection tools.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to routine work standards to meet production goals.

• Proven experience in CNC Milling.
• Apprentice-trained or extensive time-served experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working towards and achieving production targets.
• Proficiency with measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, and Mazatrol.
• Ability to work to close tolerances.
• Basic understanding of Lean principles, including 5S.
• Previous experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
