CNC MachinistLocation: Ripley, DE5 3NDJob Type: Full-time, PermanentPay: £16.97 - £20.16 per hour (dependent on experience)Hours: Minimum 39 hours per weekMy client based in Derbyshire are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our team. This role involves working on high-quality, high-integrity components across various materials in a challenging yet rewarding environment.Key Responsibilities* Machine precision components using materials such as nickel alloys, stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, and carbon steels.* Program, set, and operate CNC machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.* Work to strict quality standards, ensuring components meet specifications right the first time and on schedule.* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.* Follow route card instructions and complete all required documentation.* Interpret complex engineering drawings and use measuring equipment effectively.* Perform in-cycle deburring and routine maintenance checks on machinery.* Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance productivity.* Accurately log working hours (direct and indirect).Skills & Experience* Apprenticeship trained, time served, or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or higher).* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a precision machining role.* Familiarity with multiple CNC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mazatrol preferred).* Experience in high-precision industries such as Nuclear, Power Generation, or Aerospace.* Ability to work with various materials and tight tolerances.Available PositionsWe have vacancies in CNC Milling (up to 5-axis mill-turn) and CNC Turning, working with machines including DMG, Mazak, Toyoda, Okuma, Victor, and Correa.Benefits* Company pension* 33 days holiday (including statutory holidays)* Free on-site parking* Life insurance* Sick pay* Referral programmeWork Schedule* Monday to Friday* Day and/or Night shifts* Overtime and weekend availability* Day & Night Shift Rotation (Night rate +33%)* Overtime available (+50%), including weekendsFor more information about this position call or email your CV to
