CNC Press Brake Operator - Meriden Media : Job Details

Location: KidderminsterHours: Mon - Thurs 16:30pm - 02:00amPay: £12 - £14 p/hr + Shift AllowanceContract: Temp - PermA local manufacturing company based in Kidderminster are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. To set and operate a CNC Press Brake, for the production of components to company drawings and works instructions. Duties include the accurate measurement, inspection & identification of finished components.The Duties of a Press Brake Operator:

• To set & operate a Press brake, including tool changing & material loading.
• Review work orders, drawings & instructions
• Measure, inspect & identify finished components.
• Log production operations onto the company FMS platform.
• Work to production order of priorities, efficiently & within the production time constraints
• Maintain a clean working area, clear access to safety controls & pedestrian walkways.
• The safe offloading, transfer & storage of material.
• Maintaining quality control for all operations
• Conduct regular scheduled in-house maintenance & machine safety checks.

The Requirements of a Press Brake Operator:

• Wearing the specific PPE & safety equipment required for the operations.
• Willingness to continuously learn & be trained in the company's operations.
• FLT counterbalance certification desirable.
• Reporting any equipment, quality, safety & operational concerns to the Team Leader.
• Following all Health & Safety Procedures.
• Any other reasonable duties as required by Management
• Frequent & repetitive bending, stretching, lifting & the ability to stand for long periods of time.
