Job Title: CNC Router

Location: Melton Mowbray

Pay: Dependent on Experience

Shift: 8:30am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday), 8:30am - 1:00pm (Friday)

Benefits: accommodation and food paid for if on site, company events, 20 days annual leave rising to 25 after completing 2 years at the beginning of the new year, company pension scheme.

The Company:

An established and growing high-end design, manufacturing and fitting company, with offices in the U.S and Asia, are currently looking for an experienced CNC Router Setter/ Operator or Programmer to join their existing team, dividing their workload equally between being on the machine and on the Bench.

The CNC Router Role:

• Working in a team as well as own initiative, in the manufacturing process of luxury and high-end point of sale displays and stands.
• Operating and setting Alpha CAM CNC Router, working alongside the main current CNC Operator/ Programmer.
• Using hand and power tools and operating equipment such as tenoner, band saw, dim saw, edge bander and spindle moulder etc.
• Using laminates and finishing work to a high standard.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to bring design team and clients vision to life.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience working as a Bench Hand Joiner within the same industry (Retail & Point of Sale).
• At least 2 years' experience operating and setting CNC Router machines.
• Programming experience would be highly beneficial but not essential
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Familiar using equipment such as edge banders and spindle moulders.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Full UK driving licence.
