CNC Turner - Highbridge Talent : Job Details

CNC TurnerBasic salary £34,580 (£17.50/hr for 38 hours) across 4 DAYS!!Based in Washington, Tyne and WearMy client is a precision engineering company who are looking to recruit a CNC Turner. You'd be working 38 hours per week but this is over 4 days, Monday to Thursday from 7am - 5pm. Overtime is often available on a Friday and sometimes a weekend, paid at time and a half. The Role:

• This is a skilled role, programming and operating a Doosan CNC machine with Fanuc controls.
• You'll be working in a traditional heavy engineering environment for a successful and well established precision engineering company
• The role is 38 hours a week but only working Monday to Thursday from 7am to 5pm. Overtime is often available on a Friday and sometimes a Saturday.

The Person:

• We're looking for an experienced CNC programmer, so you'll be able to program and operate the machinery and need to have experience with Fanuc controls.
• You'll be time served and able to work independently.
• You'll be accessible to Washington on a day to day basis
• We need someone who is comfortable working in a traditional shop floor environment as part of a team.
• Experience on Doosan machines would be a benefit but isn't essential.

The Package:

• The hourly rate is £16.00 and you'll be working 4 days a week
• Time and a half is paid for Friday and Saturday overtime which is often available
• Pension
