CNC Turner / Near Oldham / Up to £20ph DoESyntech Recruitment is partnered with a leading manufacturing company to find a CNC Turner. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for precision engineering, working on innovative projects that make a real impact in a fast-paced environment.

• Program, set, and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts efficiently.
• Perform set-up changes, first article inspections, and ensure smooth production runs.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to address any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job orders to ensure precise measurements and quality standards.
• Maintain knowledge of tooling instructions, feed rates, cutting speeds, and machine controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality and production, to optimise operations.

• Time-served apprenticeship in CNC Machining, equivalent to City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3.
• Proven experience in programming and operating CNC lathes.
• Familiarity with high-productivity machine shop environments.
• Strong CNC programming knowledge, with experience in Fanuc controls being desirable.
• Basic computer literacy and awareness of Health & Safety regulations.

• Competitive salary between £35,000 and £40,000, depending on experience.
