About the Company:

We are working with a rapidly growing organisation within the construction industry, currently undergoing business acquisitions and expansion projects. They are seeking a COINS Finance Systems Analyst to support with the integration of COINS systems, ensuring seamless operations and align financial reporting, processes, and systems across the newly combined businesses. This is a mostly remote role with occasional days on-site. Outside IR35 on an interim basis, c. 9-12 months with possible extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and document financial requirements for system enhancements and issues.
  • Support the development of technical solutions based on business needs.
  • Lead data migration activities to ensure accurate system alignment.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Develop user training materials and deliver training on new features.
  • Design test scripts, oversee execution, and escalate any issues.
  • Report on project progress and testing milestones.
  • Maintain system change governance and promote best practices.
  • Provide expert-level support to finance users and troubleshoot escalated issues.
  • Share technical knowledge with the support team.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with clear communication.

Personal Attributes / Skills and Qualifications:

  • Essential: Hands-on experience with COINS, particularly finance modules.
  • Experience in finance systems projects.
  • Solid grasp of IT concepts, system implementations and data migration.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A pragmatic, analytical problem solver with keen attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and dynamic, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
