Altum Consulting are partnering exclusively with one Hollands best green renewable energy businesses to support their search for a commercially driven Commercial/Business Controller to join their successful finance team.

The business which was established 10 years ago has been focused on their mission to deliver 100% green renewable energy to thousands of Dutch households. They have seen great successes year on year and have continued growing the company strategically in order to keep their delivery of fantastic customer service at the forefront of their minds.

As Commercial/Business Controller of Operations and Services, you will be reporting to the Business Control Manager with a dotted line to the Director of Finance. You will take full ownership of Operations & Services partnering with C-Suite level stakeholders and the financial controlling team.

Role & Responsibilities;-

• Deliver timely and accurate reports for management to provide crucial business related information

• Create reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis based on controls within your service area

• Develop KPI dashboards

• Creating and reviewing various business cases for your stakeholders and offering advice and support with moving these forward

• Act as a sparring partner to the commercial and operational teams within your area to bring better visuals and understanding of the mission, figures and key drivers to help steer the strategy of the business

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders and team members across the controlling, analytics and operation departments

• Support setting up efficient and effective processes to deliver continuous improvement in order to deliver clear, efficient and transparent financial administration.

Experience & Education;-

• Educated with a Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Business or equivalent

• 4+ years of relevant controlling experience

• Experience working within a B2C led business

• Fluency in Dutch & English is essential

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business

• Able to deliver and translate key financial information to non-financially minded stakeholders

• Analytically minded and data driven with advanced skills in Excel and handling large data sets

• Continuous improvement mind-set
