Position: Account HandlerLocation: MaidstoneSalary: Up to £35,000

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Handler to join our clients team. This role offers the potential for progression and is part of an 8-member team of account handlers. While not necessarily within construction, a willingness to learn this specialism is essential. Experience with Acturis and Cert qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive insurance service to existing and potential new clients
  • Handle quotations for various types of Commercial Insurance
  • Place cover, invite and confirm renewals, and manage mid-term adjustments
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to meet clients' needs and contribute to business growth
  • Understand and adhere to FCA regulations
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance
  • Desire to learn the specialism of construction insurance
  • Experience with Acturis and Cert qualifications (advantageous)
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance
Day-to-day
  • Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the Maidstone office
  • Effective communication with clients and colleagues
  • Efficient use of IT systems for daily tasks
  • Planning, organizing, and time management
