Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Handler to join our clients team. This role offers the potential for progression and is part of an 8-member team of account handlers. While not necessarily within construction, a willingness to learn this specialism is essential. Experience with Acturis and Cert qualifications would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive insurance service to existing and potential new clients
- Handle quotations for various types of Commercial Insurance
- Place cover, invite and confirm renewals, and manage mid-term adjustments
- Collaborate with Account Executives to meet clients' needs and contribute to business growth
- Understand and adhere to FCA regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance
- Desire to learn the specialism of construction insurance
- Experience with Acturis and Cert qualifications (advantageous)
- Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance
Day-to-day
- Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the Maidstone office
- Effective communication with clients and colleagues
- Efficient use of IT systems for daily tasks
- Planning, organizing, and time management
