Pavilion Insurance Recruitment are delighted to be offering this new opportunity of Broking Team Leader to the market. Working for a leading UK Insurance Brokerage with multiple office presences your objective will be to oversee a team of Commercial Account Handlers.

This is an exciting transitional period for our client due to merger/acquisition activity and they are looking for an individual who can make an impact in training, development and implementation of structured broking processes as one team.

Day to day you will oversee a team of 6-10 staff, all at different levels of experience whilst managing policies yourself at times of busy periods, so previous experience in commercial policy broking is essential. Policies will be cross class commercial, SME and mid market.

Main objectives include:

• Creation of individual development plans/ 1-2-1s
• Providing training
• Constantly reviewing the market and industry trends
• Lead and support the team on broking challenges as well as on risk management advice
• Encourage and lead on a cross sell/up sell, focused appetite approach to the risks being received

Experience required:

Strong Insurance Broking leadership experience
