Commercial Accountant - Axon Moore Group Ltd : Job Details

The CompanyAxon Moore is exclusively partnering with a leading FMCG business with sites across the UK. Due to continued growth & new acquisitions they require a forward thinking Commercial Accountant to join their busy Finance function in West Manchester.Salary - £40,000-£45,000 DOELocation – West ManchesterHybrid – 3 days in 2 from home - travel required to different sites.Responsibilities will include:

• Support the generation of accurate period end accounts
• Carry out monthly financial reviews with the operational and sales teams
• Identify margin and profit enhancement opportunities
• Ensure contract tenders are financially and commercially robust
• Preparation of budgets/forecasts in accordance with company accounting policies
• Provide the business with sales and cost analysis reports to assist with management decision making.

Person Specification:

• ACCA/CIMA Part Qual/Finalist.
• Have the ability to communicate with both Finance & Non Finance staff.
• Solid commercial acumen.
• Advanced Excel skills.
