Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Commercial Accountant to join our client on a full time and permanent basis. This position will suit a detail oriented Finance professional to manage Financial Reporting and analysis with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other internal teams.

Client Details

Our client, a Manufacturing business based in East Kent have a significant presence in the UK market and are now seeking a Commercial Accountant to join them on a full time basis. They genuinely care about their workforce and pride themselves on being inclusive, supportive and true champions of a great working culture.

This position offers a hybrid working pattern with the successful candidate coming to the office two days per week.

Description

Commercial Accountant responsibilities include;

  • Analyse monthly financial findings and communicate key variances, investigating anomalies
  • Delivering accurate and timely financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Managing budgets and forecasting future financial requirements
  • Assist with monthly close processes
  • Completing material costings within SAP
  • Own fixed asset reporting and liaise on projects
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Handle internal audit submissions and governance
  • Supporting external audit processes
  • Authorise bank payments
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial data analysis

Profile

The successful Commercial Accountant should have/ be:

  • Professional Accounting Certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent (QBE)
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Previous experience using SAP is desirable
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Strong communication skills
