Position: Commercial Administrator
We are looking to recruit a Commercial Administrator to join our client, a leading construction company, to support their commercial team. You will report to the Commercial Manager on-site and assist the wider commercial team, including quantity surveyors.This is a 6-month temporary role, offering a pay rate of £13-17 per hour (PAYE) or £16-20 per hour (Umbrella).
Location: On-site in Westminster
Application Process: CVs will be reviewed during the week commencing 6th January, with interviews scheduled for the same week.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director/Manager to efficiently handle administrative tasks
- Perform general departmental administration as needed
- Maintain and manage filing systems and databases
- Communicate with internal and external contacts to ensure smooth information flow
- Monitor departmental costs
- Raise invoice queries
- Liaise with subcontractors
- Process purchase orders
- Ensure timely and efficient document processing through company systems
- Provide additional administrative support as required
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience in an administrative or secretarial role
- Experience supporting the commercial/procurement team
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office and strong written English skills
- Ability to produce professional correspondence independently
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Capability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
