A Legal 500 London-based Commercial Team is seeking a talented Associate with 2-5 years PQE to join their growing practice. This is a unique opportunity to work with an award-winning firm, known for its high-profile clients and innovative approach to commercial legal work.As an Associate in the Commercial Team, you will collaborate with clients ranging from international household names to ambitious UK-based companies. You'll be entrusted with managing your own caseload of varied commercial and data advisory matters. Expect to handle large, complex agreements, with the autonomy to work independently while contributing to team success.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising, negotiating, and drafting commercial contracts across diverse sectors such as technology, retail, and manufacturing
  • Handling client-facing responsibilities and building lasting relationships with stakeholders
  • Supporting the supervision and development of junior members of the team
  • Involvement in data protection matters (desirable but not essential)
  • Working with a commercial mindset to achieve practical and strategic client outcomes
The Ideal Candidate:
  • 2-5 years of PQE gained from a leading City, West End, or regional firm
  • Strong experience in commercial contracts and advising clients on key legal issues
  • Comfortable in client-facing situations with the ability to build and nurture relationships
  • Keen to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a passion for commercial law
  • Experience in data protection is a plus, but not a prerequisite
