As a luxury fashion company with a strong ethical standpoint we are leaders and innovators in our industry.OverviewReporting to the FP&A Director, the Commercial Business Partner will be responsible for managing budget and forecast processes, selling campaigns, analysis on actuals (highlighting any risk or opportunity), sell THRU/stock and financial support for business cases.This role is based in our London Head Office, working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.Your Mission:
  • Budget/Forecast
    • Manage the Budget / Forecast process from a bottom up - top-down approach. Working closely with each region and CCO to set up forecast by region for Gross Orders, Net Sales, Operational expenses and Capex. Ensuring that there is clear target communication to the teams, agreeing phasing and action plans for the year.
  • Selling Campaigns
    • Summarise, ahead of the Selling Campaigns, financial objectives, and support to set up commercial targets (gross orders by region and by client).
    • Effectively communicate sales achievements vs targets at each stage of the selling campaigns, ensure consistency between systems, and review impact of cancellations as well as impact of negotiations on discounts and returns.
    • Convey the final landing vs budget/forecast at the end of each selling campaign and phasing of shipments in collaborations with customer services and regions both locally and globally.
    • Deliver a follow up on Showroom costs in collaboration with the showroom manager.
  • Net Sales and P&L Follow Up
    • Review the accuracy and consistency of month-end accruals (revenue recognition, returns and operating expenses accruals by region).
    • Monitor year-end status in line with the business expectations, and ensure the correct level of accruals are booked and justified.
    • Analyse monthly financial actuals (net sales and operating expenses).
    • Communicate regular updates on risks and opportunities vs target by liaising with each region.
    • Prepare P&Ls by client
  • Sell THRU Analysis/Stock Analysis
    • Liaise with regions to collect and exploit sell thru reports
    • Analyse sell thru trends with sales and identify stock risks
    • Highlight any risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare Financial Support for Business Cases such as a new door, new partnership or pop up for submission
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Support in the preparation of meetings with clients
    • Help to develop financial presentations for internal and external use (i.e. board meetings or client meetings)
    • Follow up on CAPEX projects (new door, refurbishment or pop up)
    • Liaise with the Legal Team to ensure there is a clear view on existing contracts (i.e. timeline)
    • Ensure that there is consistency between systems (Joor, Stealth, BI, SAP)
    • Develop Dashboards

  • Experience in effectively managing various levels within the business hierarchy
  • Trusted Individual who can handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Thrives on challenges and demonstrates a high level of resilience
  • Able to hit the ground running with new systems, knowledge of Stealth, Joor and SAP
  • Proficient in English Language. Italian / French Languages are desirable
