Exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial & Corporate Secretary to join a dynamic legal team.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support within the commercial and corporate law department, working closely with all team members in a proactive and flexible manner.

Knowledge and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong administrative and secretarial skills, preferably within commercial and corporate law.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support specific to commercial and corporate law.
  • Learn and effectively utilize the CRM system.
  • Finalize dictation accurately and promptly.
  • Manage all aspects of file opening, progression, and closure.
  • Assist with telephone calls and walk-in clients.
  • Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor with clients and stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure swift and accurate progress on matters.
  • Take ownership and accountability for the client experience.
  • Proactively manage cases, ensuring no matter is left unattended for more than two weeks.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, client-focused, and problem-solving work environment.
  • Participate in personal and professional development, while assisting colleagues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, referrers, estate agents, financial advisors, will writers, and other legal professionals.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to Health and Safety Regulations and identifying potential hazards.
  • Demonstrate financial awareness and contribute to cost-saving measures.
