Commercial Finance Analyst | Surrey| £35,000 - £40,000 per annum | Travel Company | Hybrid (3 days in office)

JasperRose are partnering with a global travel company with offices worldwide to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst. They are based in Surrey and are in the office 3 days per week. This is an opportunity to join the EMEA headquarters of an award-winning business with exciting growth plans.

This is a newly created role within the commercial finance team due to internal restructure within the finance department, reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager and working in a team of 3.

Your main duties will be:

• Manage the month end process of commission actuals and forecasting
• Performance analysis - present weekly to sales team explaining performance
• Translating financial data into human language
• Analyse previous data in order to forecast future results
• Support month-end close to forecast the upcoming budget
• Various other ad hoc analysis

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will have a 2:1 degree (or good A Levels if a school leaver) in either Maths, Science or Accounting & Finance, with experience carrying out financial analysis, and understanding month-to-month variance. Advanced Excel skills are essential, with Power BI and Hyperion skills desirable. You will have at least 18 months or maximum 2-3 years’ experience in finance and be actively studying for ACCA / CIMA at the Part Qualified level. Experience working in travel, FMCG, retail or hospitality is desirable. You will be proactive in nature with the confidence to drive change and communicate efficiently.
