My client are a well known and highly reputable retail business based in the Swindon area.

Description

The key responsibilities within this role:

• The ability to paint a picture around the financials which is easily understood by a varied population of stakeholders.
• Develop and articulate a clear understanding of the business KPI's with the ability to implement ways to improve them.
• Deliver insightful analysis of results against target and the previous years results.
• Improving the understanding of trends, risks and opportunities across the company
• Monitor agreed strategic KPIs covering sales, profitability, and other metrics.
• Partnering with different business units to ensure the financial results of the function are prepared and reported on time and accurately.
• Work with stakeholders to review and challenge the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual P&L performances.
• Track and reforecast performance across multiple scenarios, to provide input to rolling forecasts.
• Undertake ad hoc financial reviews, and commercial decision support.

Profile

The successful candidate for the role will possess:

• A full and recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with post-qualified experience
• Previous post-qualified experience in a large and complex multi-site environment
• Advanced Excel skills and understanding of data reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills. This role will present financials to various senior profiles in the business.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Job Offer

This role is paying a salary of £55,000-£65,000 (DOE). This is a hybrid working role and the expectation is to be office based 3 days a week. Any applicants need to be immediately available or available at short notice with the ability to start in October
