Job Title: Commercial Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Location: Central London (Hybrid working available, minimum 1 day per week on-site)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with a strong finance background to join the team. This role offers a high level of autonomy and requires a strategic thinker who can drive business growth while optimising costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations, including reconciling invoices and bookkeeping using Xero
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Verify and validate medical invoices raised by third-party providers
• Liaise with insurance companies, managing authorisation codes, copayments, and explaining excess payments to patients
• Conduct data analysis using Excel to inform business decisions
• Use healthcare management systems such as Semble/Heydoc
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase business growth
• Collaborate with clinical and operational managers to optimise financial performance
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in a finance role within a large company
• Strong background in private healthcare sector finance
• Extensive knowledge of insurance company operations in the private sector
• Proficiency in Xero, Excel, and healthcare management systems (e.g., Semble/Heydoc)
• Experience in business development and strategic financial planning
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant finance or accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience working in a central London private hospital or healthcare setting
