As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing our commercial relationships with key energy suppliers and metering equipment manufacturers.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure contract compliance, strategic account management, and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial relationship with energy supplier MAP customers, attending key account meetings and quarterly business reviews.
- Manage commercial relationships with metering equipment manufacturers, negotiating rates and contract amendments.
- Support the strategic development of new business opportunities in the MAP sector.
- Conduct commercial analysis, financial modelling, and scenario planning to drive business decisions.
- Prepare detailed decision papers for Calisen’s Investment Committee.
- Work collaboratively with other business units and departments to ensure successful contract delivery.
About You:We are looking for a commercially astute professional with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in negotiation, contract management, and performance analysis.
- Strong financial and commercial modelling skills with experience in P&L management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree-level education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and adaptable to business needs.
