This role is ideally suited for a solicitor with 5-7 years of PQE who excels in a client-focused setting and is looking to develop their expertise in commercial property litigation.

About the Role:The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of complex commercial property disputes, acting for clients such as landlords, tenants, developers, and other key stakeholders in the property sector. Responsibilities will include conducting litigation proceedings, negotiating settlements, and advising on risk management strategies to maximise positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a wide range of commercial property disputes, including lease renewals, rent arrears, service charge disputes, and dilapidation claims.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored legal advice to address each client’s specific needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments, such as commercial and property teams, to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Stay updated on legal developments in property law, ensuring that clients benefit from up-to-date insights and regulatory knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with 5-7 years of PQE in commercial property litigation.
  • Proven experience managing a varied caseload of commercial property disputes, with a record of success in litigation or dispute resolution.
  • Strong client management abilities, with a knack for offering strategic and commercially sound advice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
