Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing empathetic and professional assistance throughout their case
- Document Preparation: Draft, review and organise legal documents
- Case Management: Maintain and manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurate, up-to-date and compliant
- Discovery Support: Assist in the preparation and coordination of discovery, including organising and reviewing documents, drafting discovery requests and summarising responses
- Court Filings: File legal documents with courts, including electronic filings where applicable and ensure adherence to local rules and deadlines
- Calendar Management: Monitor and manage deadlines, court dates and solicitors’ schedules to ensure timely action on all cases
- Research: Conduct legal and factual research to support case development
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with partners and solicitors and the wider legal team
About You:
- Proven experience as a paralegal, ideally within a Commercial or Residential Property Department
- Proficiency in legal software and tools, including case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to prioritise your workload and effectively manage your time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A compassionate and professional demeanour when dealing with sensitive client matters
