Capio Recruitment is working with a well-established Top 200 law firm to recruit an experienced and ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor for their busy Lincoln office. The Role:
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of commercial property transactions, providing expert legal advice to a wide range of clients, including businesses, developers, landlords, and tenants. You will handle matters such as acquisitions, disposals, leases, and property developments, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions, including the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, development projects, and commercial leases.
- Advising clients on all aspects of commercial property law, including planning, land use, and investment opportunities.
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, agreements, and other legal documentation.
- Conducting due diligence, including property searches, title reviews, and liaising with third parties.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent client care and providing commercially sound advice.
- Working closely with other departments, including litigation and corporate, to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing risk, and maintaining accurate case records.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial property law. You will have a strong commercial acumen and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services to clients. You will be able to manage a busy caseload efficiently, while maintaining excellent client relationships.
You will need:
- At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in commercial property law.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property transactions and related matters.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A proactive and client-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters.
- The ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify and capitalise on business development opportunities.
