ROLE

• Leading on complex commercial contracts, IT procurement and large-scale outsourcing projects.
• Advising clients across industries including IT, telecoms, retail, financial services and manufacturing.
• Overseeing IP licensing and technology-driven transactions.
• Driving strategic alliances and collaborations in cutting-edge sectors.
• Providing pragmatic advice on the procurement of goods, services and technology solutions.
• Managing client relationships with startups, FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies.
• Collaborating on large IT transformation projects, SaaS agreements and cloud solutions.
• Mentoring and developing junior lawyers, fostering growth and expertise within the team.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in commercial, technology and IP law.
• Expertise in handling complex IT outsourcing, procurement and technology projects.
• A broad understanding of sectors such as IT, telecoms, retail and manufacturing.
• A client-focused approach with proven ability to deliver practical, commercial solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior lawyers.
• Recognition from legal directories such as Legal 500 or Chambers & Partners (preferred but not essential).
