Join my growing client, a leader in designing, building, and operating Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine renewable energy systems across the United Kingdom. Since our inception in 2010, their in-house team of Engineers, Planners, and Project Managers has delivered industry-leading services, providing a comprehensive 360-degree approach to project development. This unique strategy ensures that my client is always at the forefront of the renewable energy sector.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Design and cost commercial solar PV projects.
- Collaborate closely with the commercial team to deliver large-scale projects throughout the UK.
- Conduct site visits, including drone and electrical surveys.
- Utilise industry-standard software (PVSOL) to create accurate models.
- Complete designs, reports, analysis, and proposals efficiently and accurately.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Methodical, accurate, and process-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Valid driving license.
- Flexibility to work throughout the UK.
- Experience in the renewables industry or relevant university degree.
- Proficiency with solar software, preferably PVSOL.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in designing PV systems and understanding of PV components.
- CAD experience.
