Due to significant growth and a robust pipeline of projects, our client is seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in commissioning BMS systems, ensuring seamless operation and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of project technical scopes.
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure compliance with installation standards and prevent potential issues.
- Collaborate with clients, representatives, and contractors to resolve challenges.
- Collect, record, and report site measurements, system setups, and performance data.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with clients and subcontractors, aligning with project timelines.
- Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation and reports.
- Address post-handover issues and provide ongoing maintenance and remedial work.
- Proactively identify and address project issues, escalating as necessary.
- Actively participate in project meetings and collaborate with team members.
Experience:
- Strong understanding of electrical PLC-based control systems, control panels, and basic IT networking.
- Proven experience in commissioning PLC-based systems in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- A systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
