They are now broadening their operations and delivering key power connections to the national grid across the country. In this role, you will oversee the commissioning process for a range of HV electrical projects, ensuring that systems are installed, tested, and delivered to the highest standards. You will work closely with the Major Projects team to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Lead the commissioning of HV electrical projects, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
• Liaise with project teams to plan, schedule, and execute commissioning activities.
• Manage on-site commissioning engineers and ensure all works are carried out according to the project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with electrical, health & safety regulation
• Producing Monthly reports detailing Commissioning progress on each scheme

The Person:

• Previous experience as a Commissioning Manager, ideally within HV electrical, utilities, or power projects.
• Familiarity with working for an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) or Distribution Network Operator (DNO) is advantageous.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong project management skills.
