Communications Officer

We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing our internal and external communications, ensuring our messages are consistent and engaging. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective communications strategy that aligns with our organisational goals.
- Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organisation’s activities.
- Manage the organisation’s social media profiles and presence, ensuring engagement with stakeholders and the public.
- Monitor public opinion and media coverage, responding to enquiries and crafting thoughtful and strategic responses.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure the consistency of messages and the timely promotion of events and initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Communications Officer or similar role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- A strong track record of creating engaging content across various channels.
- Ability to develop and implement communications strategies.
- A degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
