Company Accountant - Reed : Job Details

• Manage all accounting transactions and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements.
• Publish financial statements in a timely manner.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.

• Proven experience as a Company Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

The ideal candidate for the Company Accountant position would need to demonstrate experience obtained from a similar Company Accountant role, be in commutable distance to our client in West Malling, be able to work full-time in our office, and be available to start work immediately.
