Company Accountant - Mature Accountants ltd : Job Details

A Company Accountant is required for an import company in Bury St Edmunds. This role will report to the Managing Director and have one report who maintains the day to day bookkeeping. This is a hands on role with responsibility for the full finance function and the payroll for the business. This role is 100% office based.

• Manage month end
• Support the accounts team
• Prepare VAT returns
• Liaise with auditors and support year end processes
• Manage payroll of 10 staff

Skills Required

• An Accounting qualification is desirable (AAT,ACCA,CIMA,ACA)
• Relevant experience with involvement in all aspects of company accounting
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good IT skills including SAGE
• Friendly, adaptable and flexible
