Description
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the firm is in full compliance with relevant financial regulations and global standards.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify and address any areas of concern.
- Provide training and support to staff on regulatory changes and internal compliance requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and ensure that the business responds promptly to any changes.
- Assist in preparing reports for senior management, regulators, and auditors.
- Monitor internal transactions and processes for compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and other financial crime regulations.
- Support the development of compliance systems and automated processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in a compliance role within a financial services firm or consultancy (desirable)
- Knowledge of UK and EU financial regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulations to a business environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance matters to non-technical teams.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and compliance issues.
- Experience with compliance management systems or software is an advantage.
