Eames Consulting is partnering with a reputable Insurance organisation to recruit a Compliance Analyst for their London Office. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the allocation of regulatory reporting duties, ensure compliance with reporting deadlines, and provide support in the preparation of submissions and returns.
- Help in developing, implementing, and embedding policies, procedures, processes, systems, and controls to guarantee adherence to applicable regulatory standards and, where applicable, ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Manage all types of sanction referrals, perform due diligence for marine cargo screenings and vessel/container tracking, escalate matters to underwriters when necessary, and monitor vessels and updates on sanctions, offering guidance on licensing requirements.
- Prepare reports on compliance and governance, including those for the Risk & Compliance Committee and the Managing Agency Board.
- Assist in maintaining the Consumer Duty framework, ensuring adherence to regulations and overseeing the conduct risk management framework, while offering guidance to underwriters.
- Conduct horizon scanning to monitor regulatory and market changes, assigning actions to facilitate compliance and support business expansion.
- Carry out KYC assessments of third-party service providers and outsourced arrangements to aid third-party risk management in coordination with the Risk and Operations function.
- Work closely with the Head of Compliance to help prepare the annual Compliance Plan.
Key Requirements:
- 1+ years experience working in compliance within financial services, ideally insurance.
- Technical knowledge of the PRA/FCA/Lloyd's regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
