Job DescriptionMortgage Intelligence Holdings are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer with a background in financial services, mortgages, or insurance who is ready to take the next step into a Compliance Manager role.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance frameworks, along with a proven track record in regulatory compliance, risk management, and process improvement.Main responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Compliance Team, conduct 1:1s, appraisals, and team meetings to ensure efficiency and development.
  • Enhance team skills through targeted training initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate customer and business risks by analysing management information.
  • Prepare reports for the Board and work closely with key business areas to implement compliance strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and refine compliance frameworks to improve client outcomes.
Skills and experience required:
  • Strong understanding of MCOB, ICOBS, DISP, data protection, and money laundering regulations.
  • Ability to identify root causes and develop improvement plans.
  • Lead by example to create a positive working environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for insightful reporting.
  • Attention to Detail and IT Proficiency
