Through innovative and purpose-driven approaches, we aim to challenge traditional norms and create a pathway for those who might be overlooked by conventional financial institutions.The Role:As our Compliance Monitoring Officer, you’ll monitor our customer interactions in line with our Compliance Monitoring Programme.  Using your judgement and in-depth regulatory knowledge to determine whether each interaction meets both our quality standards and regulatory requirements, delivering fair outcomes.  You’ll apply consistency of approach, ensuring our teams operate with the customers best interests at the heart of everything they do.Key Responsibilities

• Conducting monitoring activities in line with the agreed Monthly Monitoring Plan 
• Carrying out effective root cause analysis and monitoring the remedial action implemented
• Supporting delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Programme
• Assisting in the creation of compliance and risk documents 
• Analysing MI and, if necessary, creating recommendation reports
• Maintaining Compliance logs and Registers
• Extracting data and reports as necessary, performing analysis to identify trends or emerging risks
• Conducting complaint handling in line with regulatory requirements and ensure adequate records are kept and maintained

Qualifications (minimum)

• Experience within a similar (compliance) role preferably gained within the Financial Services Industry 
• Up to date and working knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulation 

Qualifications (additional)

• Relevant professional Qualification would be preferable 
• Self-motivation, tenacity and a ‘can do’ approach 
• A proactive approach to your work
• The ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the business to drive change and deliver the Company’s aim of “continuous improvement”
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong level of IT literacy and Microsoft packages
