Compliance Officer - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half are seeking a Compliance Officer for a 6-month FTC for a client in the education sector in Cambridge. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Officer, this role will involve assisting in managing compliance and conducting health and safety risk assessments. The role holder will also be expected to cover intermittent absences for the manager. This role is a full-time contract with a potential for permanency upon the ending of the initial contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in managing compliance duties within the educational institution
• Conducting extensive health and safety risk assessments
• Ensuring full adherence to all regulations and legislation relevant to the industry
• Managing and working through a backlog of compliance-related tasks
• Stepping in to cover intermittent absences of the Compliance Manager

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a Compliance role is essential
• Experience within an educational institution is desirable, but not essential
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Proficient in time management, with an ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail
