Compliance Officer - Adecco : Job Details

Start ASAP, pay £13.50ph, hours Monday-Friday 37 hours per week, the position is until the end of March 2025 with the possibility of an extension, the position has the option of being in Glasgow or London, you will be required to work in the office one day a week. The successful candidate is required to go through a DBS clearance before starting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contributing to compliance or enforcement activity in relation to energy suppliers, scheme participants and other regulated companies, producing high quality, timely, and robust analysis of potential issues.

• Making evidence-based recommendations: identifying & escalating key issues as well as assisting in the management of risk.
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document intelligence on compliance to inform casework, including engaging with whistle-blowers when relevant.
• Conduct investigations and case management to ensure compliance among energy suppliers and regulated companies.

• The ability to collect, analyse and investigate qualitative and quantitative data and evidence to arrive at conclusions and offer recommendations.

• Produce high-quality analysis and make evidence-based recommendations to manage risks effectively.
• Communicate complex compliance issues clearly to non-expert audiences, fostering understanding across all levels.
