Job Description :

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated, dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring we adhere to regulatory requirements. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process TPD submissions across UK and European territories
  • Prepare and process product registrations for other countries that the business sells its products
  • Manage CLP requirements for products and assist the design team in ensuring that all products have the relevant CLP in place
  • Ensure MSDS documents are created and maintained for all products
  • Perform chemical checks on all component chemicals used within formulations to ensure compliance
  • Assist with the proofing of new artwork to ensure that it is fully compliant
  • Manage GS1 barcodes, including assigning barcodes during the product registration process
  • Conduct regular research, as guided by the business, and publish this in regular updates to ensure the business remains up to date on regulatory matters
  • Partake in, and contribute to, projects relating to compliance and regulations in line with business objectives
  • Complete other ad-hoc compliance or regulatory tasks as and when required by the business
  • Ensure that all data and documents are maintained in an organised manor and shared with relevant members throughout the business
  • Assist the Customer Services department in the resolution of customer queries that relate to compliance

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in a chemical compliance or regulatory affairs role
  • Knowledge of chemical regulations and compliance
  • Understanding of Safety Data Sheets
  • Good understanding of CLP regulations
  • High level of organisation
  • Good MS Office skills

Desirable Criteria

  • Some educational background in Chemistry
  • Industry knowledge
