Contract: 6-Month RollingRate: £45-£60 per hour (Open to Negotiation) (Inside IR35)Location: Northamptonshire 

Are you a talented Composite Design Engineer with a passion for precision and innovation? GTS Transportation is thrilled to partner with an industry-leading organisation to bring you this exciting contract opportunity.

In this role, you'll take the lead in designing and developing advanced composite components that drive high-performance engineering forward. Your expertise will contribute to some of the most ambitious projects in motor sport and beyond.

• Designing composite components from initial concepts to final implementation.
• Producing laminate specification booklets and tooling designs.
• Collaborating closely with structural engineers to optimise efficiency and performance.
• Researching new materials and processes to maintain industry-leading standards.
• Resolving design challenges with practical and innovative solutions.

• A degree in Automotive, Motor sport, or Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or above).
• Extensive experience in designing composite components, ideally in F1 or top-level motor sport.
• Proficiency in using relevant tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• A creative and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges.
