Computer Science Teacher - Secondary School - Havering

A large school in Havering is looking to appoint a Computer Science teacher to join a successful department.

The Computer Science curriculum is vibrant through KS3 which challenges creativity and progress. In KS4 they offer a Pearson Computer Science GCSE qualification. Experience of this award would be extremely beneficial to this role and they would welcome ECTs if they have robust experience.?

Computer Science Teacher - Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree

• Understand the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning

• Understand the importance of high expectations and equality of access for all students, and of being a tutor

• Have knowledge of Computer Science in the National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4

• Be able to work as part of a team and to develop and maintain positive relationships with all staff

• Be able to create a motivating and safe learning environment for all students

• Be able to communicate positively with parents, carers and other external agencies where necessary
