HRGO Recruitment are looking for a skilled and detail orientated Construction Estimator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background in general building works and heritage properties.

General duties:

• Analyse project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for projects
• Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, construction materials, and best practices, especially related to heritage and traditional builds.
• Provide clear reports and documentation to senior management and project teams.

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques used in historical preservation.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities
• Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings.Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office Suite
• Must have UK Drivers Licence
