We are seeking a dedicated Construction Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching in Construction Management to students at BTEC Level 3, T Levels, and HNC Level 4. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in the construction and built environment sector who is passionate about education and nurturing the next generation of construction professionals.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare and deliver lectures and coursework in Construction Management for BTEC Level 3, T Levels, and HNC Level 4 students.
- Develop and update the curriculum and course materials to ensure they are current and industry-relevant.
- Assess and evaluate students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and professional development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching standards and practices.
- Offer guidance and support to students on their educational and career paths.
- Engage with industry professionals to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the construction sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction Management or a related field.
- Experience in teaching or training within the construction and built environment sector.
- Familiarity with the curriculum and assessment methods for BTEC Level 3, T Levels, and HNC Level 4.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
