Construction Manager - Mixxos Group : Job Details

You will be managing planned and reactive maintenance projects on residential and commercial properties with your high-end luxury clients who are predominantly based in London. The types of projects vary from small maintenance jobs to huge refurbs of the properties.

• Manage onsite sub-contractors and monitor their performance.
• Drive the business forward by winning new business and delivering on the high levels of service.
• Order specialist materials
• Check the job regularly to ensure it is running smoothly and on time.
• Provision of method statements and agreeing material lists with foreman.
• Manage progress reports for all non-reactive jobs.
• Deal with any on issues with the client or workforce and report to the Operations Director and Managing Director when necessary.
• Oversight of growth and development of plumbing and heating division.
• Other ad hoc duties may be necessary to successfully complete your responsibilities.

Key Skills for a Construction Manager:

• Experience as an Estimator/ Project Manager in a Construction/Carpentry or Mechanical and Engineering industry.
• Be able to grasp technicalities with ease.
• Can price several projects simultaneously.

• Proactive and self-motivated
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Ability to take responsibility for projects and sub-contractors

Qualifications for a Construction Manager:

• IOSH
• SMSTS
• CSCS
