We have a new exciting opportunity for a Construction Programmer to join our team within East Anglia, based out of our office in Peterborough. As our Construction Programmer you will be responsible for compiling the pre-development programme for all of Vistry East Anglia’s new projects.

  • More about the Pre-programme Development Manager role...
    • You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the completion of the Construction Phase Plan. This includes gathering, reviewing, and collating all necessary documents to finalize the project files before the start of service (SOS).
    • Responsible for the auditing and regular monitoring of waste management activities. You will attend meetings and collect relevant data from various construction sites to ensure compliance with environmental standards and efficient waste disposal practices.
    • Using CAD software, you will be responsible for producing key drawings such as traffic management plans, site logistics layouts, constraint mapping, compound layouts, and build sequences. These drawings will be essential for site planning and safety.
    • You will be involved in the creation and management of Asta programmes, including the drafting of bid programmes, client contract schedules, and detailed construction timelines. These will be reviewed with the team before finalization. You will also maintain daily updates on the Asta system alongside COINS updates, ensuring that weekly programme schedules are issued.
    • You will be responsible for a variety of compliance and regulatory reporting tasks, including fire recording, Part L compliance (energy efficiency), and issuing CML (Council of Mortgage Lenders) certificates. Additionally, you will manage waste and environmental reporting to ensure regulatory adherence.
    • Participate in all site gateway stages, up to and including Stage 4 (onsite delivery), ensuring the seamless progression of the project through its various phases.
    • You will oversee the loading, updating, and maintenance of the construction programme into the COINS system, ensuring that it remains up to date until the project is handed over to the Operations Team.
    • Management of the resources levels for land appraisals
