I'm currently working in partnership with a leading facilities management provider with the crucial hire of a Construction Project Manager into their Defence division to provide full support to a RAF base in the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic.

Construction Project Manager

£50,000 salary, free accommodation, benefits listed below

Location: Falkland Islands, South Atlantic

• You will be an experience PM and be capable of following an established project governance framework and have a structured approach to manage the project

• Responsible for overall project management from feasibility to completion.
• Producing scope of works, and reviewing design and scope information
• Liaising with design team, key stakeholders, client and end users
• Ensure designs and projects comply with statutory and mandatory regulations and compliance
• Carry out post-contract project delivery to ensure deadlines and programmes are met
• Management of sub-contractors on site
• Liaise closely with commercial department on financial aspects of project delivery

Key

• Construction, building services or facilities management career background
• Strong working knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• You must have a clear understanding of the statutory regulations relating to CDM.
• NEC Accredited Project Manager (desirable)
• Experience of working on Defence projects (desirable)
• Understanding of current building regulations / Scottish technical handbook
• Bachelor's degree in construction related field and professional membership such as RICS or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the industry.

• 5% site allowance paid (paid monthly)
