We are working with a leading food production company committed to delivering high-quality products while driving innovation and efficiency. We are seeking a talented Process Engineer/Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team.Job Summary:As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimising production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring product quality. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities for improvement, implement sustainable solutions, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:* Process Optimisation: Analyse, design, and optimise production processes to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.* Continuous Improvement Projects: Lead and support Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.* Data Analysis: Collect and interpret process performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.* Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve production issues, using root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.* Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to implement process changes effectively.* Standardisation: Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.* Training: Provide training to staff on new processes, tools, and improvement methodologies.* Sustainability: Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and other sustainability goals.* Compliance: Ensure all process changes comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.Qualifications:* Relevant Engineering Qualifications* Previous experience in process engineering or continuous improvement, preferably in the food production industry.* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.* Knowledge of food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC) is advantageous.* Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to driving results.Why Join?* Opportunity to make a significant impact on operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.* Competitive salary and benefits package.* Professional growth and development opportunities.* Be part of a company that values innovation, teamwork, and sustainability.This will be working on a Monday to Friday Days shift pattern.Please click to apply and find out more.
