Job Description :

Our client, a leading global company is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee multiple service contracts and projects related to a diverse range in infrastructure and maintenance.

As a Contract Manager, you’ll be responsible for the planning and coordination of a portfolio of projects, ensuring they meet timelines and quality standards. You will need to be familiar with highway infrastructure and able to read and interpret construction drawings. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment are also key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of installation schemes, overseeing a range of projects
  • Ensure effective planning and coordination, maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and efficient cost management
  • Monitor and manage project finances, controlling costs, assessing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with payment schedules
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Tendering Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Commercial partners
  • Actively contribute to local and national business improvement initiatives
  • Lead a medium-sized team, setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing ongoing training
  • Attend pre-contract and customer review meetings

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Project Management and supervising teams, ideally in areas such as power stations, piping, utilities, highway maintenance, or local authority service contracts
  • Familiarity with highway infrastructure, including the ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Knowledge of Street Works permitting and Traffic Management requirements
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations
  • Strong contract and commercial awareness
  • Proficiency with IT systems/software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational and planning abilities
  • Experience with continuous improvement techniques and project management principles
