What's involved with this role: Interim Contracts Administrator Stoke 5261086 Key Requirements:
- At least one further higher qualification to HNC level.
- Project management based on Prince 2 principles.
- Knowledge of high value and complex contracts.
- Experience of working with service providers within either PFI or PPP contracts.
- Experience of PFI contract finance.
- Experience of budget and/or financial modelling using MS Excel.
The purpose of the role is to assist in providing a comprehensive client representation and monitoring service on behalf of the Council and strategic partners in relation to the contracts designated to the PFI Contracts & Premises Management Service.Key Responsibilities:
- Support the effective monitoring of individual contracts in accordance with Council procurement and contract management procedures, and with current national best practice.
- Ensure legislative compliance on all school properties, to ensure that all client landlord duties are satisfied and that the school management and governing bodies are aware of their obligations.
- Ensure that all contractor works and services obligations are executed in accordance with the Project Agreement, output and other specifications.
- Support high quality service delivery to stakeholders and transformational change in relation to contract management within the Directorate, ensuring that the Council’s obligations are properly met.
- Ensure continuous improvement within the designated service areas, monitor performance against local and national performance indicators and quality standards.
- Monitor and review contractors’ performance on individual contracts against requirements and time, cost and quality standards and ensure that lessons learned are captured and used to inform the commissioning and monitoring of successive contracts within the portfolio.
