Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000neg + discretionary bonus

Benefits: Hybrid/Electric vehicle, pension, phone, laptop, 21 days annual leave The role of the Contracts Engineer - HVAC Systems will involve:

• Contracts Engineer position dealing with a range of HVAC equipment including AHUs, air conditioning units, chillers and ventilation systems
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and sub-contractors
• Managing site installations projects from order to handover
• Carry out pre-start site surveys, organised subcontract labour, oversee site progress, arrange deliveries of materials and equipment, H&S audits, site inductions and quality checks
• Producing a detailed project programme of works
• Effective handling of each project to maximise profitability
• Producing documentation to meet CDM Regulations
• Working on projects ranging in value from £1,000 to £200,000

The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Engineer - HVAC Systems with:

• Must have engineering or management experience within the construction industry, ideally with a bias to HVAC / M&E market sectors
• Must have the ability to find and resolve various issues
• Ideally will have an Air Conditioning or related qualification
• Sound understanding of construction H&S legislation
• SMSTS/SSSTS
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to accurately complete all paper work and reports
• Full UK driving license
• Must be driven, hungry, self-motivated with a keen willingness to learn
• Must be flexible and adaptable
